Understand the service

Vehicle details create a more useful transport request

Year, make, model, modifications, ground clearance, condition, and operability help determine appropriate equipment. Pickup and delivery locations also need enough safe space for a carrier or an agreed meeting point.

Before handoff, remove personal property as required, document the vehicle’s condition, keep fuel at the requested level, and understand inspection, payment, insurance, and delivery procedures.

Common requests

Build the service around the job.

Select only what you need and give the mover enough detail to evaluate the work.

Standard vehicle transport

Request transport for cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, or other accepted vehicles.

Open carrier planning

Common transport option with the vehicle exposed to normal road conditions.

Enclosed carrier requests

Ask about added protection for specialty, classic, or high-value vehicles.

Door or meeting-point access

Confirm whether a carrier can safely reach each location.

Flexible pickup windows

Car Shipping FAQ

Need help with the request? Call (800) 632-7240 or email support@haulbraid.com.

What is the difference between open and enclosed transport?

Open carriers expose vehicles to normal weather and road conditions. Enclosed carriers provide more enclosure and may cost more. Ask what is suitable for your vehicle.

Can a non-running vehicle be shipped?

Sometimes, but it must be disclosed because loading may require a winch or other equipment. Steering, braking, and rolling condition also matter.

Can I put belongings in the vehicle?

Policies and legal limitations vary. Do not assume personal property is allowed or protected; get the carrier’s written requirements.

Is pickup at my exact address guaranteed?

Large carriers need safe and legal access. A nearby meeting point may be required due to narrow streets, trees, restrictions, or local rules.
