Accurate company information
Use the correct legal or registered business name and keep contact, service-area, operating, and insurance information supplied to HaulBraid current.
HaulBraid network standards
Our standards describe the conduct, information, communication, and customer-care practices expected from participating moving companies—and the checks customers should still make for themselves.
Our role
HaulBraid is a matching and coordination platform. We can set expectations, review information supplied to us, monitor feedback, and restrict network access. We do not operate the moving company, supervise its crew, set its final price, insure the shipment, or replace regulatory and legal remedies.
What we expect from movers
Participating companies are expected to meet these standards whenever they receive or work with a HaulBraid opportunity.
Use the correct legal or registered business name and keep contact, service-area, operating, and insurance information supplied to HaulBraid current.
Accept or pursue only opportunities the company is reasonably equipped, authorized, staffed, and available to perform.
Identify the company, explain why it is contacting the customer, respond professionally, and honor reasonable requests to stop nonessential follow-up.
Describe the inventory, included services, estimate type, payment expectations, and conditions that could change the amount before work begins.
Use appropriate care, trained personnel, suitable equipment, lawful practices, and a work environment free from harassment or intimidation.
Communicate pickup, arrival, delivery, or staffing changes as soon as reasonably possible and document material changes.
Explain added items, access conditions, packing, waiting time, or other scope changes before proceeding whenever circumstances permit.
Maintain a published way to report damage or service concerns and respond according to the company’s agreement and applicable requirements.
How participation is reviewed
Review depth can vary by service, route, jurisdiction, available data, and the company’s stage in the network.
We collect the business identity, contacts, services, coverage areas, and requested operating information.
Opportunities should be distributed using known route, service, and scheduling information—not as an automatic promise of suitability.
Support reports, response patterns, acceptance behavior, and documented concerns may inform continued participation.
Depending on the circumstances, HaulBraid may request updates, pause opportunities, restrict access, or remove a company.
Important: Information and status can change after review. HaulBraid cannot independently observe every move or guarantee that documents remain current. Customers should confirm the selected company and written terms before booking.
Customer review checklist
A HaulBraid introduction should be the beginning of your review—not the end of it.
Search an interstate mover with FMCSA →01Match the business identity.Confirm the company name, address, telephone number, and any applicable USDOT, MC, or state operating information.
02Read the written estimate.Check the inventory, services, dates, estimate type, possible added charges, payment method, and cancellation terms.
03Understand who performs the move.Ask whether you are dealing with the carrier, a broker, or another party and who will arrive at pickup.
04Review protection and claims.Understand valuation options, exclusions, documentation, deadlines, and the mover’s claims procedure.
05Keep records.Save the estimate, inventory, agreement, messages, receipts, photographs, and any written changes.
Pause before proceeding
One concern may have an explanation. Several together can signal that the move needs more verification.
!A company name or telephone number that does not match the written estimate
!Pressure to pay a large amount using cash, wire transfer, gift card, or another difficult-to-recover method
!Refusal to provide a written estimate, inventory, agreement, or requested operating identity
!A price that changes materially without a documented change in inventory or services
!Blank documents, missing pages, or requests to sign before key terms are completed
!Threats, intimidation, withheld belongings, or demands outside the written agreement
Report a concern
Email the request number, company name, move dates, addresses, a concise timeline, the outcome you are seeking, and relevant estimates, agreements, receipts, messages, and photographs.
Straight answers
Understand what participation means, what it does not mean, and how to raise a concern.
No. Network participation is not a guarantee, certification, warranty, or endorsement. Independent movers control their estimates, agreements, crews, equipment, and services. Customers should conduct their own review before booking.
The company should keep its legal business identity, contact information, service areas, requested operating information, insurance details, offered services, and relevant account users accurate and current.
HaulBraid may document the report, request records from the parties, restrict new opportunities during review, and limit or remove network access. HaulBraid does not replace a mover’s claims process, an insurer, a regulator, law enforcement, or a court.
Contact support@haulbraid.com or (800) 632-7240 and include the request number, mover name, dates, a concise timeline, and relevant documents or photographs. For emergencies or suspected crimes, contact the appropriate authorities first.
